The Lesson in Malcolm and Marie

The Netflix original movie Malcolm and Marie has definitely received some mixed reviews, however, there is a lesson in it that we must all be aware of. I’m a little late with this review but I want to get my point across without any spoilers.

So basically when women say they just care about the little things, they definitely mean it. Sometimes they just need to know that we care, a simple “I appreciate you”. Goes a long way, words of affirmation may seem small to you, but to her, it goes a long way. This movie takes that idea and runs with it, with phenomenal performances by Zendaya and John David Washington, they managed to capture the authenticity of today's relationships, especially the arguments.

Go watch it though, this movie was definitely a learning experience and it taught me alot.
